PHYS11185 Engineering Physics B

Course details

This course introduces basic principles of physics and aims to develop a fundamental understanding of topics (heat, waves and electricity) and their application to engineering and technology. It provides practical experience in experimental and measurement techniques used to investigate these physical phenomena and develop related professional communication, information literacy and teamwork skills.
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to attend a one-week residential school for laboratory work. They are also required to have computer access and make frequent use of the Internet.
