COIT11118 Conceptual Foundations of Computing

Course details

The purpose of this course is to introduce some of the mathematics underlying the operation of computer systems and provide a foundation in elementary computer mathematics topics. As well as a review of basic mathematics, the course covers a number of discrete mathematics topics including number systems and arithmetic, data representation, algebra, sets, propositions and logical operators, boolean circuits, graphs, sequences, combinations and permutations.
