MDWF22002 Birth in Partnership

Course details

This course introduces the student to the biological sciences that are central to maintenance of normal intrapartum and early postpartum processes. The physical, psychological and sociological effects and culturally specific birth practices are introduced to determine the promotion of safe birthing outcomes utilising a partnership model of care.
