Course details

Geographic Information Systems are essential technologies and tools for the analysis, presentation and management of spatially related data. This course introduces students to the basic concepts and methodologies used in the application of these technologies. It will utilise GIS software in order to develop a student's skills in data and information discovery, evaluation, access, application and presentation (including computer based mapping).
