EDED20453 Learning Management (Graduate Entry)

Course details

The key concepts of this course are about Learning Management and students are provided with an introduction to the Dimensions of Learning (DoL) instructional framework and the 8 Learning Management Questions (LMQs) as key organising devices to design for optimum learning outcomes. These frameworks enable students to have knowledge and perform tasks that characterise learning management as a professional role. This includes a move away from approaches that result in a "know/do" gap such as a curriculum centred approach, to one with a clear focus on the design of pedagogical strategies to achieve learning.
