RAIL29016 OPS3 - Network and Localised Train Control

Course details

This course aims to assist students to develop critical skills in network and localised train control. Students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of train movement control systems; the legislative requirements of emergency planning, preparedness, recovery, and response. In addition, students will learn techniques on disruption management and rail operations in degraded mode; as well as incident management & investigation & reporting process. Other topics to be covered include crisis management and the impact of train control system in rail operation.
