OCHS20032 Risk Management and Safety Technology

Course details

This course will review the risk management process as a tool for occupational health and safety management. As a framework for the course we will concentrate on safety hazards but the wider application of the tools used to both occupational health and safety and strategic risk management will be brought to your attention. Information on safety hazards is well documented and it is expected that you will access and read resources in addition to those included with this course to expand your knowledge. The safety science component of this course will require you to investigate the multifactorial nature of accidents. All students are required to attend a compulsory residential school at the CQU Rockhampton campus. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and internet.
