ENAG11002 Energy & Electricity

Course details

This course introduces students to basic thermal properties of engineering materials and the processes involved in thermal energy transfer. Students analyse and solve problems involving thermal energy capacity and transfer, and processes of energy conversion. Students also consider components found in electrical circuits, and analyse and solve problems for basic DC and AC circuits. They will also demonstrate professional teamwork and communication and support collaborative learning. Students will present records of analysis and calculations and apply information literacy skills in the solving of problems in a professional manner.
Distance education (FLEX) students will be required to have access to a computer and make frequent use of the Internet.
