HLTH11015 Environment and Health

Course details

Enables the student to explore the major environmental influences upon health nationally and internationally with emphasis upon the biosphere, populations; tropical, semitropical, the built and micro environments. This will provide a foundation to the exploration of the concepts of Environmental and Public Health, Occupational Health, Primary Health and Mental Health provision worldwide. Fieldwork experiences will allow students to examine and evaluate a variety of services within the community which provide public and primary health service.
