Course details

This is an introductory course for the Bachelor of Business in the Procurement and Supply specialisation. It provides an overview of all the activities in purchasing and supply in any organisation. It provides an understanding of the roles of purchasing and supply managers, purchasing principles and concepts together with management practices. It briefly explores purchasing specifications, outsourcing, supplier evaluation, price evaluation, procurement contracts, systems and procedures. It further explores make or busy decision making criteria while providing an introduction to eProcurement.
