Career Opportunities
Career opportunities include development officers with regional and state sporting organisations, administrators with local, regional and state sporting or recreation organisations, recreation officers in resorts, project officers with government agencies at local, regional or state level, fitness centre managers, personal trainers, workplace health and safety officers, rehabilitation coordinators, strength and conditioning specialists, event managers, and sports journalism.
Many others have also completed their degree and directly entered into further study in physiotherapy, medicine, chiropractic services or nutrition.
About Human Movement Science (Industry Co-op)
The School of Health and Human Performance (HHP) within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Health offers the first Bachelor of Human Movement Science (Industry Co-op) program within Australia.
The program offers students the opportunity to substantially enhance the quality and breadth of their educational experience, develop industry-relevant and employment-ready knowledge, skills and competencies, as well as providing significant networking opportunities within the health, fitness, sport or recreation industries.
