The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a program of supervised research and study leading to the submission of a thesis which makes a significant original contribution to knowledge.

Research is an integral part of Central Queensland University's purpose.  There is a strong commitment to the conduct of cutting-edge research in new areas which challenge the boundaries of the traditional disciplines to provide distinctive research opportunities and solutions for staff, candidates and sponsors.
The Associate Dean (Research & Innovation) is responsible for the management of the Faculty's Research portfolio by planning and monitoring the Faculty's directions and activities in research and postgraduate research training.
