A call for applications is normally made in August/September with applications closing by 31 October each year.
International postgraduate research candidates are eligible to apply for either the International Postgraduate Research Scholarship or the International Postgraduate Research Award. The International Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the International Postgraduate Research Award entitle the recipient to full payment of tuition fees, health cover and living stipend for a specified period. They also provide a research support grant and thesis allowance. Applications for International postgraduate research awards close by 31 August each year.
All awards are offered primarily on the basis of academic merit and alignment with areas of university research strength.
