EDED20474 Professional Learning Management

Course details

This course provides the fundamental concepts of learning management with particular emphasis on Dimensions of Learning for instructional design and employs critical foresight, futures work and reflection to inform professional learning management practices. The course is problem-solving based and by the end of the course, students will have analysed their own learning needs and developed the underpinning principles and pedagogies for their Professional Education Research Project.

The course aims to provide a solid reference base in instructional design for professional education, to develop critical and creative thinking appropriate for the attainment of the Masters degree, and to apply that thinking to the resolution of complex problems concerning the role of the professional educator.
