Course details
This course, which is part of the Student Mentor and Leadership Program, offered by CQU, links advanced level students with first level students to the advantage of both. The course provides training to increase student self-confidence and self-esteem; improved communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organisational skills. Mentors also gain an increased knowledge of the university experience, policies and procedures. Entry to the course is via application and interview. This course requires completing a practical component supervised by Student Services (internal students) and/or Division of Teaching and Learning (external students).
