COIT13226 Computer Graphics

Course details

Computer Graphics is the basis for many IT technologies in today's world. In this subject you will learn computer programming for 2D drawing, gaming and animation based on OpenGL. It includes support for user interaction through the keyboard, mouse and menus. It also uses a ray-tracing package, POV-Ray, to allow the student to explore the creation of complex, realistic, 3D scenes. Use of OpenGL for 3D games is introduced. Students with a C / C++ or Java programming background can do this course.
