CU54 - The Professional Doctorate (Transdisciplinary Studies)

Program Aim

This program provides a high level of knowledge and skills development for professionals dealing with the demands of the digital economy that normally would not be available to candidates in the work place at that stage in their career trajectory.  Based in a problem-solving perspective, courses are aimed at developing insights into the challenges of social, economic and political change that are relevant to all kinds of professional work.

*Please note that this is not a designated research higher degree at CQU.

Program Structure
The Professional Doctorate program comprises 6 compulsory transdisciplinary workshops, a year-long equivalent Project, and a Review of the Program.  Each workshop is supported by a face-to-face teaching component, a website containing the course profile, teaching notes, commentary and electronic hot links, hard copy notes and email contact for students and staff.  These elements comprise the knowledge production base of the program.
