About Health Promotion and Education
The multidisciplinary application of this program offers graduates a range of diverse career opportunities in Public Health, Family and Community Health, Health Promotion or Health Education. The core subjects in first year provide students with a comprehensive understanding of health and the factors that influence it. The focus in second and third year is the development of knowledge and skills that will enable the student to plan, implement and evaluate health promotional and health educational programs in a variety of contexts. The 6 electives undertaken, as an integral part of the program, provide students with the opportunity to specialise in an area of interest.
