About Music
The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) is responsible for the overview and development of music, theatre, dance and arts administration across the University.
This program explores both classical and contemporary music genres. Students receive training in performance, composition, and studio techniques, while also having the opportunity to study recording, production, and songwriting. Stage craft, conducting, multimedia and studio teaching are also optional study areas designed to provide students with knowledge in a range of music related fields.
