About Management (Industry)
It’s all about management. At some time in your working life you will have to manage something. It might be a section or department of a company or corporation or in the government sector.
The Master of Management (Industry) caters for students working within industry who want to develop skills and knowledge in particular areas related to their workplace. This specialisation is restricted to applicants working in particular organisations or industries that express an interest in the professional development of their staff. Primarily, the Master of Management (Industry) is designed for students whose employers approach CQU and want a program designed for a significant number of its employees. In this situation CQU would discuss with the organisation the learning outcomes they were seeking for their employees and CQU would design a program accordingly under the program structure of the Master of Management (Industry).
For those already a few years into a career, there is every possibility that your business or management experience will gain you entry into a masters level management degree program that will put you in line for a top management position.
