Like scholarships, prizes are awarded for academic performance. Prizes may also be open to restricted groups and/or discipline cohorts. The award may be money or an object such as a book or medal. The donor normally donates prizes to Central Queensland University for awards based on specific set criteria. Unlike scholarships and bursaries, prizes carry no condition of further study.
