EDED20450 Prof Studies Project I Language Teaching

Course details

This course aims to introduce the theorectical foundations and practical applications of effective second language (2L) teaching and learning. It explores historical and current approaches to 2L teaching and the relationship between how individuals learn and how that learning is facilitated by effective teaching pedagogy. Studies relate to English and to languages other than English. The course aims to develop learners' knowledge and understanding of second language acquisition/learning and second language teaching approaches. It aims to empower learners with a developing ability to transform knowledge into effective second language teaching practice.
