Plans

A plan is defined as 6 courses in a specialist area and must include at least 4 advanced level courses. One plan must be chosen from the following specialist areas offered by the Faculty of Business & Law.

  • Accounting
  • Management
  • Economics & Finance
  • HRM Fundamentals
  • Tourism
  • Marketing
  • Law & Taxation
  • E-Commerce (IS Basic Plan) (offered by the Faculty of Informatics & Communication).
  • Consumer Marketing
  • Administration

NOTE:

Apart from the compulsory courses a maximum of 6 courses may be studied outside the Faculty of Business & Law.

Entry requirements

Students must complete an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) recognised Diploma in Hospitality Management (12 subjects of credit).

Note: Students must check to see when and where a course is offered before enrolling. See the course availability section in this handbook for details.

Please note that full-time students usually enrol in four courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in two courses per term.
