Program Structure
To satisfy the requirements for the award students must complete a program of 24 courses (144 units of credit) which comply with the requirements stated below.
Students must complete:
- 9 compulsory courses (unless the Dean of the Faculty of Business & Law approves otherwise) courses listed below
- Either BUSN11015 Applied Business Research or MATH11246 Quantitative Methods A (students undertaking the Information Systems or the Economics & Finance specialisation MUST take Quantitative Methods A)
- Satisfy the requirements of two discipline specialisation plans consisting of one specified specialist six-course plan as nominated for the chosen degree specialisation and one additional elective six-course plan.
- The chosen plans must include at least ONE Business & Law specified six-course specialist plan, except Information Systems where both six-course specialist plans are taken from the Faculty of Informatics & Communication.
2 elective courses, selected from any 6 point undergraduate course offered by CQU, subject to approval by the Dean. A maximum of 12 Level 1 courses may be credited towards the Bachelor of Business (Specialisation) program.
(Each six-course specialist plan has 6 technical specialist courses, which includes at least 4 advanced level courses.)
The six-course plans are listed on the Plans for Business Programs page.
Hong Kong students should note the only degree specialisation available on this campus is the Administration specialisation.
Singapore students should note that the only degree specialisation available on this campus is Marketing.
Shanghai students - The final year of the Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) is available to students at Shanghai. Students at the Shanghai delivery site study through LaSalle-DHU International Design College.
