MMST13015 Collaborative Multimedia Project

Course details

This course provides an opportunity to undertake a significant multimedia project as a member of a small production team to simulate the industry-standard working environment. Draw upon your skills in multimedia production, interpersonal communication, teamwork, conflict-resolution, time-management, problem-solving, and critical thinking to develop a sophisticated multimedia product that will demonstrate your technical abilities and creativity to prospective employers. Learn about project management tasks and issues such as scoping a project, writing a proposal, assembling a production team, gathering content, negotiating intellectual property, selecting a production platform, building a prototype, authoring, testing, publishing and more. Note: Access to a computer with an Internet connection, audio capabilities and a CD-RW drive is a requirement for this course.

Requisites: Prerequisite: Minimum 96 credit units. This course is only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Multimedia Studies. Students may not enrol in this course without first contacting their Program Administrator.
