LOTE11004 Second Language Communication in Global Environment

Course details

This course is taught through specialised immersion techniques and incorporates the four skill areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. There is an emphasis on self-directed, active learning as well as targeting of individual needs and deficiencies with an aim of providing more independent learning. Closely aligned with language proficiency development in this course is development of socio-cultural understandings relevant to the target country.
