EDVT11004 Workplace Training & Assessment

Course details

This course has been designed to recognise the need for people who want to achieve the nationally endorsed competency standards for workplace assessors and trainers. It is a `hands on' course in which you will be learning the basis of teaching/training and assessing in a workplace. As such, it is an entry level course which gives a broad overview of some of the basic tasks workplace trainers and assessors perform. Successful completion of this course will satisfy `off-the-job' competencies for Workplace Assessors and Trainers as set out in the Certificate IV qualifications in the Training Package for Workplace Assessors and Trainers (1998). The `on-the-job' competencies relevant to this qualification's standards will be demonstrated through successful completion of EDVT12014 Teaching Practicum I.
