DNCE12014 Dance Performance II

Course details

This course provides students with advanced dance techniques and an emphasis on the historical development of dance. The course aims to give students an appreciation for the way dance has developed over time through an analysis of and acquisition of classical, contemporary tap and modern theatre dance techniques. Alongside their own development in technique students will investigate the contribution of choreographers and artistic directors in the process of development of a dancer.
