ACCT19065 Foundations of Research in Commerce

Course details

This course is designed to provide the student with an understanding of research in developing a body knowledge. The development of knowledge in the areas of accounting and finance will be considered and students will be expected to critically evaluate developments in the literature, as well as preparing a research proposal to address a specific gap in literature. The course is ideal preparation for those students who may choose to proceed to Honours, or for students who see a value in understanding the development of knowledge and the skills to critically evaluate contributions of knowledge.
