Course details

This course teaches communication skills relevant to academic work. Students are introduced to the nature of academic discourse and the learning strategies appropriate to university level education. The emphasis is on critical thinking and dealing with ideas. Practical activities are designed to help students become more effective as readers, researchers and writers.
