Course details

Introduction to Problem-Based Learning provides a comprehensive introduction to the philosophy and methodology of Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Students are actively involved in learning environment that uses PBL to facilitate this particular approach to learning. The learning tasks and assessment are authentic in nature and are woven together in such a way as to make them integrated and seamless. The course is conducted 100% online and all of the learning materials are accessible via the course website. At the completion of the course students will have a sound theoretical and practical understanding of the family of pedagogical approaches known as PBL and will be able to undertake further studies related to the design, development and facilitation of PBL courses. This course is offered online.
