EDED21008 Dimensions of University Teaching

Course details

This course seeks to expose its students to elements that comprise excellent teaching and learning for tertiary education. Emphasis is attached to develop an effective "toolbox" of educational and learning strategies that will result in all students learning to the required level.

The course is designed around elements of research-based pedagogical practice aimed at raising university teachers' knowledge about and application of pedagogical strategies that improve adult student outcomes, especially the alignment of the curriculum, instruction and assessment.
