Course details

The purpose of this course is to prepare students who are in the fourth (Honours) year of their Bachelor of Science (Applied Physics) for the use of information resources and the presentation of a written report on a chosen topic. On satisfactory completion of the course the student should have: formulated a suitable topic description; researched relevant information from all available sources; presented a written report on the topic; demonstrated the ability to think critically; demonstrated technical knowledge relevant to the chosen topic; and demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively.
