EDED12335 Teaching and Coaching

Course details

Theoretical and practical opportunities for students to develop their teaching competence in these two areas of Physical Education are included in this course. The theoretical component includes an examination of the origins of major games and athletics and the current perceptions and implementation of these activities in schools and society generally. The preparation of individual athletes and teams will be an important emphasis in the course. Students will be required to complete two coaching awards.
