NURS11148 Health and Human Behaviour

Course details

This course examines the impact of health and illness on thoughts, feelings and behaviour and the effect that thoughts, feelings and behaviour have on illness and health. Students will study theories related to human development and social and cognitive psychological theories and apply these theories to health and illness. Students will have the opportunity to explore health promotion and prevention of illness programs in relation to the knowledge gained from this course. Students may be required to undertake up to 24 days supervised clinical practice as a component of the course. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and Internet. Students must successfully complete NURS11147 before attempting this course.
