Program aim
This program caters for students who wish to develop research skills for their workplace or who are considering further studies and need to demonstrate evidence of their research ability. It will serve as an entry route into the PhD program or the Doctor of Business Research program.
Program structure
12 postgraduate courses
- 1 core postgraduate course MGMT20124 People, Work and Organisations
- 7 postgraduate courses as required for the Master of Management in Marketing, Human Resources, Industry or International Business
- 1 elective postgraduate course from those offered by the Faculty of Business & Law or from another Faculty with the approval of the Dean
- plus 3 additional postgraduate courses BUSN29019 Business Research Methods; STAT29052 Advanced Business Statistics; BUSN29021 Research Project

Entry requirements
To gain entry to this program, students must have:
- completed at least 6 courses towards a Master's degree at CQU with a GPA average of 5 or more or completed a Master's degree from another Australian University or its equivalent with an acceptable GPA;
- obtained agreement from an appropriate person to supervise the research project.
