Course description
This course explores the basic writing techniques necessary for the creative rendering of individual personal and imaginative experience. The student will investigate and practice such things as narrative viewpoint, characterization, dialogue, description of setting, imagery and symbolism, rhythm, plot and structure, stream of consciousness, impressionism and expressionism, and humour and pathos.
