SOWK12007 Research Methods in Social Work
Course description
This course builds upon, and further develops skills begun earlier in the program. The framework for the course is focused on developing an understanding of research strategies, the interpretation of research findings, and becoming familiar with methods for conducting qualitative and quantitative research. Throughout the course students will have the opportunity to develop a detailed research study in an area of interest to themselves. Students aiming for the award of a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours must achieve a grade of Credit or higher in this course.
