PROP19003 Advanced Property Valuation
Course description
This course develops further the basic property valuation principles introduced in Property Valuation. The emphasis is on the valuation of income producing property assets. Topics covered include the mathematics of freehold and leasehold property valuation utilising the time value of money formula as exhibited in the capitalisation of net income and discounted cash flow approaches. There is also some practical application of property valuation principles in the preparation of cases, assessment of evidence, and involvement in the presentation of this evidence to a virtual moot court.
