Topics covered include work physiology, manual handling and anthropometry; work organisation issues, for example, shift work and work load; equipment and job design parameters which promote cognitive compatibility. Case studies are used to help learners challenge their current understandings of the nature of work. All students are required to attend a compulsory residential school at the CQU Rockhampton campus.
