OCHS13011 Occupational Rehabilitation and Compensation

Course description

This course will provide you with an understanding of the basic issues important to worker rehabilitation (see course objectives). Material has been organised so that you obtain knowledge that is internationally and nationally relevant. Information from the Australian National Occupational Health and Safety Commission (NOHSC) as well individual Australian State bodies, and in particular, Queensland is included. For those of you intending to work in Queensland, you can attend an optional residential event (3 day training on Queensland legislation and technical application) that, upon successful completion, enables you to apply for a Q-COMP Workplace Rehabilitation certificate.
