NURS13115 Professional Practice

Course description

This course allows nursing students the opportunity to integrate their knowledge and skills of nursing practice into developing the capacity to form more comprehensive partnerships with clients in a variety of settings. It will require the students to evaluate deficits in their own development of clinical competence. These deficits will be addressed by formulating individual learning objectives and seeking learning opportunities in the clinical environment. Students will be required to undertake 320 hours of off-campus clinical experience as part of this course. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and Internet. There is a compulsory 2 day on-campus workshop for this course.
