MUSC12050 Musicianship I
Course description
The development of practical musicianship skills and a fundamental knowledge of the theory of music are the focus of this course. It involves the study and practical application of elementary materials of music: music reading and writing techniques basic to the understanding of western musical tradition; performance; aural skills including recognition, reading and playing of melody, rhythm and harmony; sight singing and sight playing.
