MUSC11266 Writing Techniques I

Course description

The aim of this course is to develop a knowledge and understanding of the materials of music through the study and use of music writing skills derived form the western art-music tradition. In each component of this subject, examples for demonstration, score-reading, analysis and study will be selected from a variety of available Western art-music compositions.
