Course description

This course develops skills in self-directed music learning and performance. It offers an open, mentored environment for vocalists and instrumentalists who may be initially, relatively, inexperienced but wish to explore music practice and performance. The broad goal of the program is to develop generic skills but specific and specialist skills may be added to these by attendance at special training events. Music I is a core requirement of the First Year of the Bachelor of Performing Arts. Music II-V are available as primary study options for Second and Third Year students.
