MMST13014 Multimedia Project

Course description

This course provides an opportunity to undertake a significant multimedia project as a member of a small production team to simulate the industry-standard working environment. Draw upon your skills in multimedia production, interpersonal communication, teamwork, conflict-resolution, time-management, problem-solving, and critical thinking to develop a sophisticated multimedia product that will demonstrate your technical abilities and creativity to prospective employers. Learn about project management tasks and issues such as scoping a project, writing a proposal, assembling a production team, gathering content, negotiating intellectual property, selecting a production platform, building a prototype, authoring, testing, publishing and more. NOTE: Access to a computer with an Internet connection, audio capabilities and a CD-RW drive is a requirement for this course. Students may not enrol in this course without first contacting their Program Administrator.
