Course description
This course will help you to develop skills in 3D modelling and rendering using Maya Personal Learning Edition. Learn how to build complex scenes by creating, combining and manipulating 3D primitives. Explore 3D character modelling techniques using polygons and NURBS. Discover how to enhance the realism of your scenes with the aid of lighting, materials and image maps. Achieve control over how audiences view your scenes by learning how to position and animate virtual cameras. Note: Access to a computer running Windows 2000/XP Professional with a 3D graphics card, an Internet connection, audio capabilities and a CD-RW drive is a requirement for this course.
