MGMT20125 Leadership and Governance

Course description

In this course students examine the nature of leadership and the responsibilites of organisational leaders as well as legal, ethical and economic issues facing organisational leaders. It aims to develop students' understanding of the role of leaders and how personal values impact on their decision making. It also teaches students about systems of management and governance that managers can use to lead effectively and responsibly manage their organisations and promote responsible conduct in employees.
