MATH12178 Engineering Mathematics III
Course description
The aim of the course is to introduce students to some of the techniques available for the numerical solution of problems arising in engineering applications. Topics include techniques applicable to the solution of nonlinear and linear equations, the evaluation of eigenvalues, interpolation, quadrature and differential equations. Development of vector equations for complex physical processes and how those are to be manipulated for numerical solutions are also covered.
