Course description
This course introduces the fundamental concepts necessary for further studies in engineering. Topics covered are vector algebra, matrix algebra and linear equations, complex numbers, elementary functions, function notation and the elements of statistics. MATLAB, where appropriate, will be used to support the learning process.
